My City Burning

My City Burning started out in 2006 to make hardcore the way they saw fit; with balls and a lot of energy. Expect a mix of oldschool hardcore and thrash metal with some catchy melodies, something along the lines of Terror, Sick of it All and Walls of Jericho.

In their short lifespan MCB has released a well received demo EP, and shared stages all over Europe with a lot of kickass bands, including Machine Head (USA), Hatebreed (USA), Caliban (D), Poison the Well (USA), Death Before Dishonor (USA), Backfire! (NL), Pro-Pain (USA), Integrity (USA), Coliseum (USA), Devil Sold His Soul (UK), No Turning Back (NL), Burning Skies (UK), Kickback (FR), Enemy Ground (NL), Rise and Fall (BE), Length of Time (BE) and The Setup (BE).

In 2008, My City Burning was asked to support Raging Speedhorn (UK) on their final European tour. In 2009, they got asked by Machine Head to open for these living legends on one of the few club shows they had that tour.

Their work ethic up until this point hasn’t gone unnoticed, and landed the band endorsement deals from Ibanez and Peavey.

My City Burning will hit the studio again in November of 2009 to record their first full length album.
